ABOUT US
Bumps and Beyond is a charity that provides clothing and equipment to people in need. We are dedicated to supporting families and children by offering essential items that can make a significant difference in their lives. Our mission is to ensure that every child has access to the basic necessities they require for a happy and healthy childhood.
Bumps & Beyond is a small charity situated in Stamford Lincolnshire. We help families source clothing and equipment for children under 12 years old. We cover a variety of areas including Rutland, South Kesteven and Peterborough. We seek a world where no parent or caregiver has to worry about essential equipment or clothing. We rely on donations from the public to support us and are currently open to the public 3 days a week. As part of our day to day role we help all families to make sure they have what they need to support their family. This could be from clothing, pushchairs, car seats, toys, nappies, milk and other essentials. We also help families who are in crisis and have fled from difficult circumstances. We support these families and make sure they have everything they need to provide for their family. Having this charity within the South Kesteven area has helped so many families to have a safe place to come and get the items they need to make sure their children have the best equipment and clothes. Over the past year we have helped hundreds of families and we would like to continue this for years to come. We also work alongside people from multiple organisations including, social services, prison services and the police.
Our History
Bumps & Beyond was founded in 2009 by Alice Scott and Vanessa Burton in a small cupboard on the Stamford Hospital site. More than fifteen years later and it is now a fully fledged charity in its own right and has helped thousands of parents and care-givers!
